Tri Wedge Machinery Mounts are available in two sizes load rated at 8,000 and 35,000 lbs respectively. The three piece wedge design features two stationary and one sliding wedge to provide true vertical mechanical lift for the mounts. Height adjustments are made by turning a very accessible side adjustment bolt which moves the center wedge fore & aft between the stationary wedges to provide lift to the top wedge. Each model has height ranges based on the position of a retainer within the mounts. The retainer can be placed in one of two retaining sockets. Placing the retainer in the socket nearest to the adjustment bolt head moves the mount through the lower height range. Positioning the retainer in the rear socket moves the mount through the upper height range. The TW-35000 is available with an optional mounting stud. Both models may be used with or without isolation pads. The pads are designed to limit the transmission of noise and vibration between the machine and the work environment or structure. Each isolation pad is recessed approximately 1/8 of an inch to allow for a secure fit over the edges of the top and bottom of the mounts. Pad thickness is approximately 1/4 inch. In addition to the reduction of industrial noise and vibration transmission, the pads provide a high coefficient of friction which help prevent the machine from "walking".
IMW Mounts feature a three piece wedge design that offers true vertical lift with enough adjustment range to meet the demands of most applications. The IMW mounts are ideally suited for injection molding, die casting, and cold heading machinery but offer an outstanding mounting solution for a wide range of equipment. Oil resistant, nitrile butyl rubber isolation pads are standard features of these mounts. The IMW Mounts are available in two sizes with capacities of 6000 and 20000 pounds respectively. These mounts allow for the precise leveling of machinery while the isolation pads offer a high coefficient of friction which helps prevent the machines from "walking".
