dB-Bloc

This is the mass loaded vinyl layer that is applied to a disconnected framing structure prior to hanging your drywall.    The density of this material combats the bleed of noise by reducing the common surface's ability to resonate and transmit sound.

RSIC Clips

This is a mechanical clip system that can help lift/separate your final layer of drywall away from the structure of your facility.   The system is designed to trigger the collapse of structure borne noise vibrations through a common surface.

Green Glue

This is a visco elastic material designed to sandwich between two layers of drywall or flooring substrate to help impair the common surface's ability to conduct vibration.    The damping effect of Green Glue destroys transmitting energy.

Canopies

 For ceiling treatments using dB-Bloc, install these light covers above any future light cannister locations to help minimize noise bleeding out through your ceiling.

FloorFighter

This is a floor underlayment material designed to combat the bleed of noise down through a common floor/ceiling assembly.   The material is available in 4'x25' rolls, is simple to install, and can trigger up to a 90% drop in sound bleed.

Putty Pads

Wrap all electrical boxes with this acoustic skin to help combat the bleed of noise through your electrical openings.   

Acoustic Caulk

After the installation of the dB-Bloc, and prior to hanging your drywall, be sure to caulk all surrounding seams where walls meet walls, ceilings or floors, and any openings around door seals, windows, outlets, and all other drywall cutouts to help minimize bleed.

Integrity Gasket Tape

Layer this tape along the exposed edges of the opposite side of your stud or joist system from where you will be applying dB-Bloc.   This elastic material can help trigger an additional 3-4 dB drop to your treatment.
