These panels can be custom cut on site with a straight edge and a utility knife. This material is class A fire rated, an upgrade from the standard FBF1M Panels made from open cell polyurethane foam. If you do not need the heat or fire resistance, opt for the less expensive FBF1M panels. For OEM applications, note that we can custom cut/die cut this material to most any shape or thickness. Ask for the aluminized mylar skin to repel moisture and add to the life of the material.
The panels are designed to adhere to the inner walls of an enclosure. Glue the thinner foam side to the walls, facing the thicker foam side in towards the sound source. Standard silicone adhesives are used to anchor the material. If you are adhering this to a ceiling of an enclosure, consider bracketing this material in place. It will weigh more than 1 one per square foot.
