Installing FBF1M Panels
FBF1M Panels are simply cut using a scissors or utility knife to match the dimensional cavity size of the inner walls of your shroud, enclosure or surrounding wall. The material is adhered direct to the surface using silicone adhesive. You do have the option of having us apply a pressure sensitive backing to the material, but this lengthens your delivery time and increases your price. Silicone adhesives work just as well, penetrating deeper into the pores of foam than a standard peel/stick treatment.
For placement on a ceiling of an enclosure, you may need to reinforce using straps of metal or wood. Matching aluminized mylar tape is available to tape the seams and prevent moisture penetration.
