The following product alternatives are all designed to absorb unwanted sound reflections in a room, cleaning out the background noise, and delivering high quality acoustics back into the room.
Pyramids
The most popular of NetWell's line of acoustic foam treatments is the Pyramid panel system. Cut to 2'x2' squares and available in 6 colors, the continuous pattern treatment compliments the tremendous sound absorption effects with a class audio look.
These are the identical to the standard polyurethane foam Pyramid, but cut from class A fire rated melamine foam for use in public buildings.
Cut from the same polyurethane foam as the standard Pyramid, consider this alternative design to generate a parquet look to your wall.
For more aggressive treatments, impact sounds and low bass tones, these MAX blocks generate stronger absorption coefficients for a stronger price. Overkill for most acoustic environments, but popular for anechoic chambers and sound test booths.
Wedges
Cut from the same open cell foam as the VCuts, MAX or Pyramid Panels, these egg carton convoluted cuts of foam are a popular alternative where aesthetics are less a concern. Used more for industrial treatments than commercial treatments due to the lack of continuity in the pattern cut from piece to piece.
Pyramidiums
Pyramids on a stick! These floor standing sound absorption panels are portable, ideal for targeting the reduction of unwanted sound reflections in temporary venues, stages, spotted floor treatments in music and recording rooms.
The perfect compliment to a room filled with wall mounted Pyramid panels, consider the DIME Tiles for your drop grid ceiling system. They yield outstanding sound absorption coefficients in addition to, or instead of, your Pyramids.
This material is much thinner than the Pyramids, and won't yield the same NRC values. However, a popular alternative in venues where lighter sound reflections are dominate, and the need for thicker material is not required.
These are class A fire rated fiberglass based absorption panels. Ideal as a substitute for the Pyramids due to their class A fire rating, and the 48 color options.
A popular version of the Fabric Panel, as an alternative to the wall mounted Pyramids, these Clouds can float out over your room to control the background noise in a variety of noisy venues.
