Because our flat foams are typically thin, and by definition don't include a convoluted surface, they do not offer as high a level of absorption as our contoured foams that are thicker. Clients who seek flat foams are typically targeting enclosure linings or treatments where there is little room for thickness. The following set of alternative product choices target this treatment.
Flat Foam

MelaFlat Foam
Class A fire rated melamine flat foam is heat resistant to 480 degrees fahrenheit.

FBF1M Panels
Open cell polyurethane foam composite product designed for lining interior walls of an enclosure to combat sound bleed. Available in 4'x4' squares measuring 1.25" thick, simply cut and paste this product to the inner walls and apply with silicone adhesive.

MBF1M Panels
These panels are the equal to the FBF1M Panels, but made from class A fire rated melamine foam. This composite product is heat resistant to 480 degrees Fahrenheit.

QBS Blankets
If you seek an enclosure lining sound barrier material, you could also opt to have NetWell cut a custom set of these blankets to match the inner walls of your enclosure. They could also be hung from a frame around your sound source, negating your need to build a permanent box.
