Installation

Fabric Panel treatments can be installed using any of the following mounting methods.    If you are unsure of the method that would be best for your treatment, please contact our help desk at 1-800-638-9355.

Impaling Clips Plus Adhesive For Mounting Sound Panels

Impaling Clips + Adhesive:

Use standard silicone adhesive.    Apply to the backside of each piece, and anchor the impaling clips to the wall with a screw.   The impaling clips will have teeth on them that will puncture through the back of each panel as you press it to the wall.   As the adhesive drives, the impaling clips will hug the panel tight to the wall.    $5 per panel for the clips, you supply the glue.

ZClip Installation Mount

Z-Clips:

Z-Clips are a mechanical way to install your set of Fabric Panels in a glue installation.   While we apply a set of clips to the four corners of each piece, we box and ship with your order a matching set of clips that you will secure to the wall with screws.   The panels then slide into place without the need for glue.   $20 per panel.

Velcro Tabs for Mounting Sound Panels

Velcroed Tabs:

We can apply velcroed tabs to the four corners of each panel and ship the mating tabs for you to attach to your wall.   For larger panels, we recommend anchoring ZClips at the top of the panel due to the weight.

Rotofast Snap On Anchors

Rotofast Snap-On Anchors:

Our most popular suggestion for installing your panels.    These are a plastic clip system that allows you to self install the panels without the need for adhesives, impaling clips, ZClips or velcroed tabs.     Rotofast Snap On Anchors are featured online at:

For Cutting Panels Onsite:

You can take a hair dryer and blow warm air over the back side of your panel to loosen the adhesive.    This will allow you to disrobe your panel and perform custom cutouts onsite using a utility knife or box cutter.    Then rewrap the cloth and apply to the backside of the piece using a hot glue gun.     This technique allows you to cut panels to match the incline of a pitched roof, cut around electrical outlets, etc.    Although we can also perform custom cutouts during production, there are times when more exact field measurements can be made while the panels are onsite.
