Outdoor Pool Pump

The Challenge

Nearby neighbors were exposed to the unwelcome sound generated from this pool pump.      NetWell was asked to deliver a treatment that would protect both the home owner and the surrounding neighbors from the noise.

The Treatment:

NetWell asked the customer to erect a fence or frame around the sound source, and submit the dimensional size of the frame.   In turn, NetWell cut a set of corresponding sound control blankets custom cut to fit the cavity size of the frame.    The blankets were delivered 3 weeks later, and attached to the frame to combat the unwelcome noise generated by the pump.

The Result:

As a result of enclosing the pool pump, an average 12-15 dB drop can be achieved.    This is equal to an estimated 90% drop in the amount of noise exposure prior to the treatment.
