The Challenge:
The Finger Companies based in Houston, TX develops, owns and manages a variety of high rise residential buildings. During the development of a 22 story building housing luxury condominiums, the Finger Companies contacted NetWell Noise Control for help in soundproofing the drain pipes in each residence as the building was being constructed. The goal was to prevent noise from breaking out through the walls of the pipes and spilling out into adjoining units.

The Result:
NetLag is able to trigger an average 12-18 dB drop when properly installed. This is the equivalent to producing up to a 90% drop in the amount of perceived noise bleeding out through the plumbing fixtures in the facility. The building is now complete, with proud new home owners isolated from one another's plumbing noise.

The Treatment:
Each individual drain pipe in this new construction project was wrapped with NetLag Duct and Pipe Wrap. This lagging material was wrapped around the pipes in an attempt to isolate the noise to within the pipe, preventing the transmission of noise out through the walls of the pipe and bleeding into neighboring homes.
