The Challenge:

ProCom Sound in Burr Ridge, Illinois was asked to help design a solution to the unwanted sound reflections produced by their new speaker system installed in a local church sanctuary.   The room was a large, rectangular shaped worship facility filled with hard, reflective, parallel sets of surfaces in the room.   Our goal was to slow the reflection times down to a manageable level, which in turn would produce greater clarity to the spoken word, and more harmonic musical tones.

The Treatment:

By taking into account the size, shape and surface textures in the room, NetWell was able to design the answer to the unwanted sound reflection issue.   Cloth wrapped Fabric Panels were produced and shipped to the job site, installed by ProCom Sound.   The panels were sized and placed between long vertical stain glass windows around the room's perimeter.   As a result of the treatment, sound reflections within the room were now caught and captured by the Fabric Panels.   The room was restored back to quality sound, clarity to human voice, and harmonic melodies during their worship services.

The Product:

Fabric Panels can be custom cut to the size and color you seek.   Panel dimensions can be cut up to 10' in length, and mechanically clipped to the perimeter walls around your room.    These archtiectural panels are decorative, fire rated, durable, easy to self install, and are available in 48 colors.    They can also be made available in the form of a Ceiling Cloud or Fabric Baffle to be mechanically suspended from your ceiling where wall space is unavailable.
