Massage Envy is a franchise chain of retail massage locations spread around the United States.    One franchise owner contated NetWell in advance of construction of their new store to be opened in a busy strip mall.    The concern was the level of potential noise that could bleed through the common walls shared by other retail establishments.    The massage center had to be extremely quiet for their patrons.

NetWell suggested the standard procedure featured here in the Walls section of this website.    By applying a layer of dB-Bloc to the common surface, anchoring a set of horizontal firring strips, and attaching drywall to the face of the firring strips, the neighboring noise will be disconnected and unable to transmit through structurally.
