The Challenge:
The Grace Evangelical Church of Longmont, Colorado contacted NetWell Noise Control seeking help with their acoustics. Their new multipurpose room played host to a variety of social gatherings that included weddings, bands, children's events, classes, guest speakers, fellowship and a variety of related activities. The sound reflections in the room were too strong, delivering unwelcome background noise in the room that threatened the continued use of the facility. The challenge to NetWell was to deliver better sound in the room.

The Result:
Once the Ceiling Clouds were suspended in place, the sound reflections in the room were slowed to under 2.0 seconds. As the background noise levels subsided, original speech returned to normal conversational tones. People could once again communicate without raising their voices. Bands produced good quality harmonic tones. The room was restored to acoustic comfort and now plays host to a full schedule of social functions.

The Treatment:
The facility required a decorative, durable, class A fire rated sound panel treatment designed to capture the unwanted sound reflections in the room and deliver back good quality original sound. The Ceiling Clouds were selected for their appearance, durability, self installation and their ability to leave the walls untreated. When properly installed, the Clouds would absorb the background noise levels and restore good acoustics back to the room.
