The Challenge:
As is the case with most restaurants, the surfaces in the Moonshine Patio Bar and Grill are hard reflective surfaces that are designed for cleanability. These same surfaces are highly reflective for sound reverberation, and cause problems with the acoustics in the room. As background noise elevates, conversational tones across a table begin to compete. The decibel levels in the room spiral out of control. In addition, the surrounding walls in the room have a distinct decor that cannot be interrupted with a set of wall mounted sound panels.

The Result:
The Ceiling Clouds served to interrupt the reflecting sound waves in the room, capturing and absorbing the unwanted reverberation. This cleaned out the background noise, delivering back into the room normal conversational tones and a mild balance of echo. With the facility's acoustics back under control, patrons began to stay longer and visit more frequently.

The Treatment:
While the walls are unavailable for sound panel treatment, the ceiling becomes the natural target. By suspending a set of acoustic Ceiling Clouds from the ceiling, the sound reflections in the room are captured and converted. The Clouds are available in 48 colors to match a color spec in the room or blend in with the ceiling. NetWell's help desk determined the quantities required for the treatment based on the size and surface textures in the room..
