There we discuss the use of dB-Bloc and a variety of other products designed to contain your noise to within your workshop. Start by anchoring dB-Bloc to your exposed or finished common surfaces. Then line with horizontal firring strips up the walls, or perpendicular to the ceiling joists, and finish off with a new layer of drywall.
Also consider building a simple frame around your stationary sound sources, machinery and dust collection systems. We can cut a set of QBV blankets to hang from the frame and house the noise inside this new sound enclosure.
