Staple this material to all exposed studs or joists in any room where transmission of sound through that finished surface may bleed noise.     Follow the framing advice listed in our Walls or Ceiling section.

For isolating contact between rooms through walls or ceilings, anchor these clips to the surface and snap hat channels in place to create a disconnected surface.    Apply this treatment over the top of dB-Bloc.

Green Glue is applied as a constrained membrane sandwiched between a double layer of drywall or flooring substrate.   The visco-elastic material works to impair your surface's ability to vibrate and destroys transmitting noise.

For noise that will break out through the walls of your ductwork and spill into a room, jacket the duct with this lagging material to hold the noise inside prior to hanging sheetrock.

For noise that will break out through the walls of your pipes and transmit out into the various rooms of your home, wrap the pipes with this lagging material before sheetrocking the wall.

Prior to hanging your finished drywall, fill all exposed holes, cracks, crevices and seals with this acoustic sealant designed to help eliminate flanking paths that noise can bleed through.
