If you have access to your ductwork, simply wrap this lagging material like a jacket around the duct to keep the noise from breaking out through the walls of the duct and spilling out into your room.

»dB-Bloc

If you do not have access to your ductwork, consider lining the common wall concealing the duct with this mass loaded vinyl material. This treatment is outlined in our Walls section in more detail for existing walls. Frame out and sheet rock over.
