Isolating Factory Noise

Noise Control Challenge:

Here we are targeting an industrial plant floor filled with unencloseable noise sources.   To help minimize the decibel level exposures to employees spread around the plant, our sound proofing goal is to help isolate the noise infested area from the rest of the facility by isolating the workspace with floor-mounted or ceiling-suspended sound barrier curtains.

Soundproofing Treatment

Our Product Bin is filled with a variety of sound barrier products that can isolate your noise to within a more contained section of your plant without enclosing the noise source itself.    These are floor or ceiling mounted sound control treatments that are designed to partially cordon off one area of your plant from the rest of your facility.

Acoustic Result:

Sound blanket treatments can typically yield 12-15 dB drops, but in this case are being used as a partial enclosure only.   Results will vary depending on the extent of coverage.    Remember that a mere 3 dB drop is a 50% drop in perceived sound pressure for hearing protection.   Simulated results for isolating factory noise are broadcast in our Sound Chamber.
